本书总结了中国的改革 与发展实践，体现了中国经 济学的研究成果，旨在推动 中国经济学走向世界。这部 大典分为政治经济学、转型 （制度）经济学、发展经济 学、世界经济与国际经济学 、资源与环境经济学、经济 学方法论、国民经济学、产 业经济学、财政学、金融经 济学、区域经济学等11个学 科，在词条选择和阐述上力 求反映中国特色和经济学的 普遍规律，旨在展示当代中 国经济学研究的进展和理论 创新。它不仅总结了过去的 经济学创新，还跟踪了中国 改革与发展的新阶段和新特 点。这部大典的编委会成员 都是伴随着中国改革与发展 成长起来的新一代经济学家 ，他们亲身参与了中国改革 与发展的各个阶段的经济研 究，对中国改革与发展和经 济学创新有着切身的感受和 感悟。

洪银兴，南京大学长江三角洲经济社会发展研究中心名誉主任、学术委员会主任，南京大学人文社会科学资深教授，教育部社会科学委员会副主任委员，中央马克思主义研究和建设工程专家组首席专家，全国综合大学《资本论》研究会会长，国务院学位委员会理论经济学学科评议组成员（第四届、第五届）。曾任南京大学党委书记，1987年获中国人民大学经济学博士学位，2009年被加拿大滑铁卢大学授予名誉法学博士学位。1993年经国务院学位委员会评审获得博士研究生导师资格。曾获孙冶方经济科学奖（1987），霍英东教育基金会高等院校青年教师奖（研究类）（1989），“做出突出贡献的中国博士学位获得者”称号（1991）。2009年入选“影响新中国60年经济建设的100位经济学家”。2017年获吴玉章人文社会科学奖一等奖。2018年获国家级教学成果一等奖，教育部高等学校科学研究优秀成果一等奖。2019年获中国经济理论创新奖。
