中国减贫与发展经验国际分享系列旨在讲好中国减贫故事，向国际社会分享中国减贫经验，为广大发展中国家实现减贫与发展提供切实可行的经验。该系列聚焦中国精准扶贫、脱贫攻坚和巩固拓展脱贫攻坚成果的经验做法，基于国际视角梳理形成中国减贫经验分享的知识产品。本书是《中国健康扶贫政策与实践》的英文版。健康扶贫政策是中国政府为了解决贫困地区农村人口因病致贫、因病返贫问题，推进健康中国建设，确保农村贫困人口享有基本医疗卫生服务而实施的一项重要工程举措，也是中国精准扶贫目标实现的关键之举，对于决胜全面建成小康社会具有重要意义。本书从“看不上病”、“看不起病”、“看不好病”和“少生病”四个实施目标讲述健康扶贫政策与实践。健康扶贫政策推动了健康扶贫目标精准化、工程精细化、机制长效化，增强了医疗保障制度的公平性，提升了健康治理的效率，建立了良好的多元主体互动关系网络大格局，因病致贫、因病返贫治理取得了显著成效。
