王哲，博士，中山大学外国语学院教授。主要从事外语教育、通识教育、外语课程与教材建设等方面研究。主编国家级规划教材、主编及参编公共外语教材和译著30余部，主持国家级精品资源共享课《高级商务英语》和国家级一流本科课程《新闻英语视听说》，并长期讲授研究生英语、高级英语、英语学术阅读与写作、英语学术讲座与交流等课程。
