博雅英语阅读教程

《博雅英语阅读教程》 （English Reading for Liberal Education）是根据 修订的《大学英语教学指南 》（2020版）的要求，为 非英语专业本科生和研究生 编写的泛读类教材。 教程的编写贯彻了内容 、语言融合教育的理念，满 足了《大学英语教学指南》 中对于大学生“思辨能力”“ 人文精神”等“综合文化素养 ”培养的新要求，旨在提高 学生英语语言能力，同时使 博雅教育与专业教育在高等 教育中有机融合，帮助大学 生涵养人文精神、培育科学 素养、增强美育熏陶、培养 历史意识、根植中国情怀、 提升思辨能力和塑造正确价 值观。 教程的选材围绕博雅教 育理念的要求，涉及了科技 、经济、文学、教育、法律 、心理学、哲学、音乐、建 筑和绘画10个主题。每个主 题分为三个部分：第一部分 为宏观综述（Overview）， 让学生通过快速阅读，了解 该领域的历史背景和发展脉 络，并产生一定的兴趣。第 二部分聚焦某个伟大的时代 或人物（The Greats and Their Times），选取两篇 文章，中外各一篇，既开阔 了学生的国际视野，又让学 生了解中华文明对人类文明 的贡献，增强文化自觉和文 化自信。第三部分介绍该领 域最新发展和趋势（Now and Beyond），培养学生 的前瞻性和创新性思维。 同时，为了更好地帮助 学生在阅读中提升语言能力 和博雅素养，每单元还配套 设置了练习题目，除了选择 题、判断题等客观题，题目 多以简答题、观点概述、小 组讨论等形式呈现，重点锻 炼学生的思辨能力、表达能 力和合作能力。
