《查拉图斯特拉如是说 》作于1883—1885年之间 ，是晚期尼采思想的集成， 在尼采思想生涯中占据着特 别重要的地位。全书以汪洋 恣肆的诗体写成，熔酒神的 狂醉与日神的清醒于一炉， 通过“超人”查拉图斯特拉之 口宣讲未来世界的启示，在 世界哲学史和诗歌史上均占 有独特的不朽地位。 英文版译者为英国尼采 研究专家康芒（Thomas Common，1850—1919）， 1909年收入Oscar Levy （1867—1946）主编的英 文版《尼采全集》第11卷。 本次影印英国George Allen & Unwin的1932年第6版， 其中Oscar Levy的 Introduction不收。

尼采（1844-1900年），德国哲学家，西方现代哲学的开创者，同时也是诗人和散文家。他很早开始批判西方现代社会，然而他的学说在他的时代却没有引起人们重视，直到20世纪才激起深远的调门各异的回声。后来的生命哲学、存在主义、弗洛伊德主义、后现代主义，都以各自的形式回应尼采的哲学思想。
