中国减贫与发展经验国际分享系列旨在讲好中国减贫故事，向国际社会分享中国减贫经验，为广大发展中国家实现减贫与发展提供切实可行的经验。该系列聚焦中国精准扶贫、脱贫攻坚和巩固拓展脱贫攻坚成果的经验做法，基于国际视角梳理形成中国减贫经验分享的知识产品。本书是《中国农村精准扶贫政策与实践》的英文版。本书介绍中国农村精准扶贫政策的实践做法，第一章从全局的角度对精准扶贫政策进行了概述，包括精准扶贫的实施背景、什么是精准扶贫、精准扶贫政策都是解决什么问题等内容。第二章至第六章，分别介绍了精准扶贫关键的五个环节：“扶持谁”——精准扶贫的对象；“谁来扶”——精准扶贫的主要帮扶力量；“怎么扶”——精准扶贫的主要方式；“如何退”——贫困县、贫困村、贫困户脱贫后怎么退出；“如何稳”——精准脱贫后怎么确保不发生规模性返贫。
