中国文化概要英语教程

我社计划出版的《中国社会与文化英语读本》（第2版）是在前版教材的基础上，经编写团队十余年的教学探索、经验积累和成果积淀，进一步修订完善的。该教材旨在使英语类相关专业学生能够感知中华优秀传统文化魅力，培养学生的文化素养，提升学生用英语讲好中国故事的能力和语言表达交流能力。该教材分为8个部分，共计28个章节，语言表述准确规范，文章内容通俗易懂，选题范围广泛实用。在编写过程中，编写团队结合前版教材优势，广泛征求了专家学者的意见和建议，并进行了多轮修改和完善。该教材在章节内容设计上有机融入了思政元素，充分体现了我国近年来的时代特色和发展风貌，将我国的世界遗产、大国工程、中国精神、社会主义核心价值观等要素融入其中。该教材从中国印象、历史纵横、传统习俗、哲学思想、书画艺术、传统工艺、古典建筑、中医文化等角度全方位地展现了中华优秀传统文化的深厚底蕴和人文思想，强化了教材的价值引领作用。

刘莹，副教授，西安翻译学院英语专职教师。2008年毕业于西安外国语大学取得英语语言文学硕士学位，主要研究方向为英语语言文学及文化研究。主讲课程为《高级英语》、《中国社会与文化英语课程》、《模拟导游》等，其中《高级英语》和《中国社会与文化》英语课程先后被评为陕西省一流课程。发表学术论文十余篇，其中核心期刊6篇，出版专著2部。曾获西安翻译学院教学标兵、年度优秀教师、中青年骨干教师等荣誉称号；曾获西安翻译学院微课教学大赛一等奖、二等奖、陕西省微课教学大赛优秀奖；主持参与的省级校级科研教改项目20余项。
