本卷有选择地汇集了李曙光研究团队2012~2022年在金属稳定同位素示踪深部碳循环方面的主要学术论文。本卷汇集的论文涉及金属同位素分析测试方法的建立,标定地质储库的同位素组成和地质过程的同位素分馏,以及应用Mg-Zn-Fe等金属同位素示踪深部碳-氧循环的实例研究等,探讨了俯冲和岩浆过程中金属同位素行为,不同俯冲带和不同俯冲深度的深部碳循环过程以及再循环碳酸盐种属及通量等许多重要科学问题。这些论文大部分发表在高水平期刊上,引用率高。其中论文(Li et al.,2017,NSR)被NSR评为2019最佳论文。
