本研究采用击键记录法、有声思维法和屏幕录像法采集翻译过程数据,主要探讨了翻译初学者和半职业译者在英译复杂度水平不同的汉语文本时翻译单位的层次和大小方面具有的特征,工作记忆、文本复杂度或翻译经验作用于翻译单位层次和大小的方式,以及三者对译者选择翻译单位方面的交互影响及其作用的方向和强度。本研究的主要发现加深了我们对翻译认知加工过程的认识,为构建较为完善的翻译单位理论模型打下了基础。
