Michael D. Ferguson is an Assistant Professor of Aviation at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota specializing in airline safety, airline management and ethics. He holds an MS degree from the University of Nebraska, Omaha, and is certified by the FAA as a private pilot, an advanced ground instructor and an instrument ground instructor. Ferguson has over 15 years of experience in the aviation industry, which includes several leadership positions in operations and safety as well as managerial positions at Delta Connection, where he was exposed to safety issues from an operations perspective. Sean Nelson is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Senior Technology Manager (CSTM) with more than 15 years of safety, environmental, and industrial hygiene experience in the aviation, transportation, and manufacturing sectors. He has built successful safety and health programs through the development and implementation of corporate and facility-based policy, procedure, and training programs and currently works as a safety consultant for Liberty Mutual Insurance Group. Sean is also a Registered Professional Industrial Hygienist (RPIH), and Certified Senior Industrial Technologist (CSIT).
卢建综博士，美国知名的航空教育专家，美国普渡大学终身教授、博士生导师，烟台南山学院航空学院院长。他的研究领域包括航空安全管理体系(SMS)、航空法、航空管理、机场安保管理体系(SeMS)，在航空相关期刊发表了40多篇论文，并担任多家航空期刊的编审和理事，同时是美国联邦航空管理局(FAA)民航安全专家、FAA通用航空卓越中心(COE)通航领域首席研究员，并参与美国交通部(DOT)运输研究所(TRB)多项研究项目。卢建综教授在2013年获得美国航空教育学会(UAA)“约翰·劳勃航空安全奖”(John Lauber Safety Award)，同年获选为“普渡研究员”(Purdue Fellow)，是普渡大学长期外派中国的第一位教授。多年来，卢建综教授在国际交流合作方面做出了积极贡献，在中国许多高校举办了讲座和高级航空安全培训班，构建中国民航大学、西北工业大学、南京航空航天大学、清华大学、中山大学、华中科技大学等高校与普渡大学合作的桥梁，并与青岛航空、南方航空、深圳航空、中华航空、长荣航空、华信航空建立了长期良好关系。
