Skolnik博士：美国国家工程院院士，IEEE会士担任美国海军研究实验室雷达分部负责人已有30余年，靠前个在雷达技术与应用方面获得IEEE Dennis J．Picard 章；同时是IEEE Harry钻石奖，JohnsHopkins大学有名男毕业生奖，以及美国海军有名文官服务奖的获得者。Skolnik博士曾是IEEE会刊编辑，编著有《雷达手册》（由McGraw—Hill出版社出版，中文版第二版由电子工业出版社出版）和《雷达应用》（由IEEE出版）等书。
