精编美国文学史

书共26章，精述17世纪早期至当今时代的美国文学发展史，评介主要作家及其代表作品，解析引领时代风气或知名品牌作家创作的重要文学思潮和流派等。比较早版本增加了近50位作家的小说、诗歌的评介，增加了对族裔文学及其代表作家的介绍。

常耀信，教授、博士生导师，任教于中国南开大学及美国关岛大学，研究方向为英美文学。
