本教材以应用型本科院 校的人才培养为目标，充分 考虑应用型本科院校学生的 实际英语口语水平和学习需 求，重点培养学生的文化阐 释能力和文化思辨能力。全 书共6个单元，话题是学生 感兴趣的绿色生活、爱的真 谛、友谊、留学生活、创客 运动和科技发展，富于人文 关怀和思辨性。单元内设计 了丰富有趣的口语活动，如 角色扮演、小组讨论、图片 描述等，旨在鼓励学生积极 参与口语表达。 本教材可作为应用型本 科院校大学英语基础课、选 修课教材，也可作为口语练 习材料，供学生自学。

杨梅,攀枝花学院外国语学院网络与大学外语教研室主任，研究兴趣为大学英语教育教学。主持或参与各级各类研究项目10项，获攀枝花学院教育教学成果一等奖两项和三等奖一项。担任副主编教材5部，发表论文10篇。指导大学生创新项目6项。
