作者简介
何继善,中南大学教授。1934年9月出生于湖南省浏阳县。1960年毕业于长春地质学院,1994年当选为中国工程院首批院士。2001年获全国模范教师称号,2005年获全国先进工作者称号,2014年获湖南省科学技术杰出贡献奖。 湖南省科协名誉主席,中南大学庄胜矿业研究院院长、终身名誉院长,美国勘探地球物理学家协会(SEG)终身会员。曾任中南工业大学校长,中国工程院主席团成员、能源与矿业工程学部主任,工程管理学部常委,中国地球物理学会副理事长。 何继善创立并且发展了以“双频激电法”“伪随机信号电法”“广域电磁法”和“拟合流场法”为特色的地电理论与方法体系,发明了相应的仪器,并在国内外广泛应用。据不完全统计,使用双频激电法与广域电磁法探明的金属矿产和油气资源价值超过2300亿元。何继善院士的成就得到了国内外同行专家的承认与高度评价,如美国权威地球物理学家莫利松教授写道:“何继善以他在勘探地球物理方面的众多成就,尤其是在激电和电磁法方面的卓越贡献,得到全世界同行的公认。”为了解决我国,尤其是湖南省的能源瓶颈,何继善教授多年来进行非常规天然气,特别是页岩气的研究,取得了十分明显的成效。在湖南,他被称为“页岩气之父”。
