本书为“综合英语教程（第四版）”套系中的第6册同步练习，全书共12个单元，每个单元由Vocabulary and Structure、Learning Strategies、Academic Writing Practice、TEM8 Practice四个版块组成；在同步练习的最后还提供了参考答案和音频文本。新版同步练习主要有以下四处更新：1.优化各项语言训练活动，提高对学生用书上语言知识训练的针对性；2.更换阅读文章，选用了具有丰富人文思想的文学作品，训练学生阅读技能的同时培养其文化素养；3.根据英语专业四级和八级最新考试题型，精心设计了三套专四模拟题，以分散或集中的方式呈现在15个单元中；4. 实现了新形态转化，学生可扫描二维码听音频。
