《综合训练》配套《综合教程》使用，除了进一步巩固语言基本知识学习内容外，还补充了一定量的四级考试模拟题，帮助学生熟悉考试，应对挑战。《综合训练3》中一到八单元（Unit 1-8）由三部分组成：词语和习惯表达（Words and Expressions）、语法结构（Grammar）和课文练习（Exercises about the Texts）。此外，还包括两套综合练习和两套模拟试题。
