《〈自然〉学科经典系列》由有名物理学家李政道先生担任总顾问，并由中国科学院前任院长路甬祥院士、《自
然》杂志前任主编约翰•马多克斯爵士（Sir John Maddox）和施普林格•自然集团总主编菲利普•坎贝尔爵士（Sir
Philip Campbell）出任总主编。
《〈自然〉学科经典系列》是一套英汉对照版的科学主题丛书，包括化学、物理、生命科学、天文和地球科学五个
学科分卷。丛书收录并翻译了国际很好学术期刊《自然》自1869年创刊以来发表过的各个学科领域拥有代表意义的
精华论文，再现了自然科学各个学科波澜壮阔的发展历程！其中《生命科学的进程》由北京大学前校长、中国科学
院院士许智宏担任中方主编。
