《和你在一起！：25国外籍专家战“疫”实录》共分“抗击新冠肺炎疫情，中国在行动”“我们留在中国挺好的”“英国小哥聊新冠肺炎战‘疫’”“面对疫情，身在中国的老外有话说”“患难见真情”“凝心聚力，共同战‘疫’”“山川异域，风月同天”“隔离不隔情，隔离不隔爱”等八个部分，其中包含40篇文章和330幅图片以及12部视频节目，由中国外文局来自25个国家的35位专家联袂创作而成。这些作者既是中国外文局的外籍专家，也是关注中国的靠前人士。作为媒体人，他们发现部分西方媒体对疫情的报道存在曲解和误读，使恐慌情绪蔓延。这时，他们努力传递出中国当下的真实样貌，“告诉人们中国的实际情况”；作为外国人，他们在这次疫情发生时选择留在中国，有的专家在这样的时刻选择“逆行”回到中国，每个人都是经过理性思考做出这样的决定，因为“中国可以办大事，可以创造奇迹”；同时，作为热爱中国的靠前友人，他们以实际行动宣示，“我不能在这个时候抛弃需要我的朋友，不能在有困难的时候离开”。无论来自哪里，他们都“相信被口罩遮住的笑脸不久之后就会回到这个可爱的国家”，真诚的态度力透纸背，许多故事感人至深。《和你在一起！：25国外籍专家战“疫”实录》是对一场特殊经历的记录，也是对媒体人和出版人的责任，对外国人对中国和中国人的信任，对疫情之下人与人之间、国与国之间大爱的记录，彰显了灾难面前不分肤色、超出国界的靠前主义精神。
