吴文俊全集 拓扑学卷1

本卷收录由法国Hermann&Cie出版社出版的吴文俊的博士论文《Surles Classes Caractéristiquesdes Structures Fibrées Sphériques.》（论球丛结构的示性类）与Springer出版的《Rational HomotopyType-AConstructive Studyviathe Theory of the I*-measure》(有理同伦类)。吴的博士论文给出了两类具有特定群结构的纤维丛等价的一个非平凡的必要条件与4维复型到格拉斯曼流形映射的同伦分类。作为应用，证明了4k维球体不存在概复结构。进一步给出4维与6维流形具有概复结构的充分必要条件，并确定了4维流形所有可能的概复结构。论文还给出了Whitney示性类的对偶定理的证明。惠特尼对这个定理给的证明极为复杂，全文没有发表。吴的证明则非常简洁，这是示性类的一个经典结果。《有理同伦类》一书介绍了吴文俊引进的函子，其显著特点之一是可计算性。函子比已知的经典函子如同调函子与同伦函子等更易于计算及使用。函子不仅可以得出及的有理部分信息，而且可以得出一些更加复杂的关系。这使得成为构造性代数拓扑学的重要内容。
