本书为智库峰会会议用书。本书为中国人民大学重阳金融智库书系图书。本书从“历史”的角度介绍了的前世今生，全面论述了的起源与作用、议程设置、机制建设、主要使命以及目前体系面对的靠前形势。通过对“优选经济治理”这个根本大背景的思考，探讨“的优选治理工作”以及“2016年与中国关系”。书中另有附录介绍各国国情、历届峰会公报、的政策承诺与落实情况、的组织架构、对一些专门术语的解释以及靠前智库对2016年中国峰会的建议。

中国人民大学重阳金融研究院（人大重阳）成立于2013年1月19日，聘请了来自10多个国家的82名前政要、银行家、知名学者为不错研究员，与30多个国家的智库开展实质合作。2014年，人大重阳是入围由美国宾州大学推出的、靠前认可度优选的《优选智库报告2014》的“优选很好智库150强”（列靠前06位）七家中国智库之一。
