《外贸英语口语读本》的编写基于外贸业务工作过程，共14个单元。涵盖日常活动及外事接待，如：机场接送、参观、宴请等以及外经贸业务活动的具体环节，如询盘、报盘、付款、合同、保险、索赔及贸易方式等，内容几乎涵盖了外贸工作的全过程。

王琼，浙江金融职业学院靠前商务系老师，长期从事外贸英语、大学英语的教学工作、研究工作和社会实践工作，积累了丰富的经验。2003年以来在《教育与职业（全国中文核心期刊）》、《杭州电子科技大学学报(社会科学版)》、《扬州大学学报（社会科学版）》等学术期刊上发表论文20余篇；主持、参与厅局级课题8项。2014年参与《基于POCIB的“三融合”高职外贸人才培养的创新实践》获重量教学成果二等奖。
