Dr. Xi Sheng-yan is a Doctor of Medical Science and holds the following positions:Associate Professor of TCM, Master Advisor of the TCM Internal Medicine of XiamenUniversity Medical College, Associate Chief Physician of TCM Outpatient Departmentof Xiamen University (China) and visiting scholar of University of Manitoba (Canada).He is engaged in researches for basic theory and clinical practice of Chinese materiamedica (CMM) and Chinese medical formulas, and mainly teaches Clinical ChineseMateria Medica and Professional English for Traditional Chinese Medicine. He isaffiliated with the following groups: member of China Association of Chinese Medicine(CACM), academic deputy of CMM Basic Theory Branch and Formula-CMM Dose-Effect Branch of CACM, and member of Chinese Medical Association.
