毛履鸣（LuMing Mao），男，明尼苏达洲立大学英语博士，现为美国迈阿密大学（俄亥俄州）英文系主任、教授，暨亚洲及亚裔美国人语言文化研究部教授，主要从事西方修辞、中西比较修辞、批评语言学以及英语写作研究，著、编／合编六本专著，包括Reading Chinese Fortune Cookie: The Making of Chinese American Rhetoric (Utah University Press, 2006)、Representations: Doing Asian American Rhetoric (with Morris Young, Utah University Press, 2008), Comparative Rhetoric: The Art of Traversing Rhetorical Times, Places, and Spaces (Taylor & Francis, 2013)。也在美国修辞学核心期刊Rhetoric Review 和 Rhetoric Society Quarterly, 国际语用学核心期刊Journal of Pragmatics, 大学英语修辞写作核心期刊 College English 和College Composition and Communication, 语言文学期刊Style 及其他刊物、集本上发表论文五十余篇。
