阅读文章的首尾段以及每一段的首句。在读选项之前自己先想一想答案会是什么往往也很有帮助。
类型2：细节题（细节事实）

如果你注意细节的话，这类题很容易。而且，你总是可以回到文中检查一下选择的答案是否正确。
类型3：推断题（推理，上下文言外之意）
1.It Can be inferred that the guides were organized as they were because
2.It can be inferred that each of the following applies to the perfecti except
3.With which of the following statements about marketing would the author most likely agree?
再次重申，读选项之前先自己想一想答案会是什么，然后再看选项中哪个答案和自己的想法最接近。如果你已经有想法的话，就会降低题目中迷感项对你的千扰（参见第256页）。对于推理类问题，最明显的选项或者只是把一个事实换一种方式重说一遍的选项往往都是错误的。你必须要能读出原文的言外之意，然后选一个把原文中给出的事实升华并给出一个适当结论的选项。
类型4：作者意图题

假设你是作者（但是不要浪费时间去悔恨写了一篇这样无聊又没用的文章，这是真正的作者该做的事）。读文章时，把形容词和表达作者强烈语气的词勾画出来。为了弄清作者对主题的态度，你要注意作者的措词、句型和意象的使用。
类型5：词汇题

3.Which of the following best captures the meaning of the word"alliance"in line 32?
如果你不认识问到的词也不要放弃，你应该能从上下文中推断出它的意思。同时要注意——答案很可能并不是这个词平时最常用的意思。
