3招1步开口说英语.中级段

当今社会竞争激烈，英语口语能力也因此显得尤为重要。然而，大多数人在学过几年甚至十几年的英语之后，发现英语中最难克服的困难仍然是口语。这也是我们一直谈到的中国式“哑巴英语”。造成“哑巴英语”的原因主要有三点：第一，总觉得自己的英语发音不准，说得不够地道，不敢开口。第二，不了解句子结构。不知该如何组织句子，因此吞吞吐吐，说不出一个正确、完整的句子。第三，缺乏练习的机会。没有说英语的氛围，固然口语能力差。为解决上述三大问题，我们编写了这套《3招1步开口说英语》。全套书共三本，按照循序渐进的原则，分为预备段、初级段和中级段，共18个单元，包括入门篇、基础篇和提高篇。张淑芳和黄欣《3招1步开口说英语(附光盘初级段)》为中级阶段。

    I favor long vacations because I can have enough time to do things that cannot be finished within a short period. During a long vacation, I may make a complicated experiment, carry out an involved investigation or go to a faraway place for some necessary field work. Taking a full time job to earn money for one or two months is another benefit the long vacation provides. And sometimes a valuable academic thesis with a considerable length needs a long vacation.
     When it comes to having a vacation in the country or an urban touring vacation, I would like to choose a vacation in the countryside, because I want to be close to the nature.In particular, I prefer to celebrate the Spring Festival in the countryside where I can play with my cousins and they can teach me many things which I can never get from books.In the countryside, people carry out a lot of activities to welcome the Spring Festival and this preparation of the New Year starts from the beginning of 12th lunar month.All the families clean their houses, wash their clothes and bed sheets. Special New Year purchases are also important parts of upcoming New Year. On the first day of the Chinese New Year, we all get up early. We say "Happy New Yeari" or "Good luck this yead" to superiors and get money from them.During the whole festival, we are permitted to burn fireworks.However, such an activity is completely or partially forbidden in big cities for the government has to take security, noise and pollution factors into consideration.
     我喜欢较长的假期，因为它可以提供更充裕的时间去完成想做的事情。长假里，我可以完成一项复杂的实验，进行一项深入的调查或去一个遥远的地方实地考察。学生可趁较长的假期从事一份专职工作，既赚钱又长经验。在较长假期里，同样可以完成一篇有价值的学术论文。
     提及在乡村度假还是城市度假，我想我更倾向于在乡村度假，因为我更喜欢接近大自然。尤其是喜欢在乡村过春节。在那里，我可以和堂兄弟姐妹一起玩，从他们那里我可以学到课本以外的很多知识。在乡村，人们会举行很多活动庆祝春节，而迎新的准备工作在农历12月初便会开始。所有的家庭都会进行大扫除，清洗衣服、床单以及购置年货。大年初一，我们通常起得很早，并向大人们拜年，说声“新年快乐”“一年好运”，之后还会拿到压岁钱。并且，我们总能燃放烟花爆竹。不过，这样的活动在大城市是被接近或部分禁止的，因为政府会考虑安全、噪音和污染等各方面的因素。
