视听说教程(附光盘3教师手册第2版新世纪大学英语系列教材十二五普通高等教育本科国家

Susan Stempleski、杨惠中等编著的《视听说 教程（附光盘3教师手册第2版）》每个单元由Lesson A（Listening&Speaking）和Lesson B（Video Course）构成。 Lesson A从第一节到第四节，详细设计了语言点 的引入、交际功能表达法的介绍、题材的介绍等等。 第一节Vocabulary Link是介绍与本节题材与交际功 能有关的词汇和短语，第二节Listening是结合情景 与交际功能进行听力练习，第三节Pronunciation为 语音训练提供基本知识和示范，第四节 Speaking&Communication结合情景与交际功能进行 听和说的综合练习，将这些材料有机结合，在课堂里 进行操练和仿说练习，帮助学生有效提高听和说的能 力。教材每单元内容比较充裕，如果按计划进行听和 说的操练，一般学校能够在课堂时间内完成教材内容 。但有些学校如果因为班级太大，在课堂内组织口语 练习确有困难，可以根据实际情况对内容进行选择， 把课内时间集中在听力练习上，重点发展学生的英语 听解能力。对于班级里英语程度比较好的有条件的学 生，可鼓励他们在课外通过网络课件进一步进行听、 说操练，全面提高英语听、说能力。 另外，第三版对Lesson B也做了相应的调整和补 充，目的是帮助学生在理解的基础上切实提高英语口 语能力。第一部分Global Viewpoints是采访不同的 人就同一题材发表观点，受访者来自世界各地，英语 地道、规范，语速正常，还可能带有一点当地口音， 这些正是现实生活中可能遇到的情况。为了帮助学生 充分理解说话内容，教材设计了相应的练习提高听解 能力，同时也增加一些产出练习。第二部分City Living是情景喜剧短片，有人物，有情节，有故事。 但是仅仅看懂故事梗概并不是语言课的目的。英语课 的目的是帮助学生掌握其中的语言，尤其是要学习其 中的EverydayEnglish，表达交际功能的语言手段， 以及掌握谈论某个题材所需的词语，这些英语口语中 最常用的预构成语块是会话策略的重要语言手段，学 生要结合短片中的情景、人物表情和肢体语言，充分 理解、熟练掌握。为此，教材设计了各种有效的练习 ，帮助学生掌握地道的英语，加强语感，同时提高学 习语言的兴趣。
