钱建源编著的《高中英语菁华阅读》分为2册， 精选历年全国各省市高考英语试卷中的美文佳作。阅 读这些选篇，学生能品尝文化大餐、博览世界风情、 遨游科技海洋、憧憬未来世界。每篇选文后都设置了 词汇和阅读理解题，帮助学生积累词汇并提高阅读理 解能力。此2册图书适合高中学生阅读。高一学生可 以作为补充教材精读，起到扩大词汇量、拓宽知识面 的作用。高二、高三的学生可以作为应对高考”阅读 理解”的训练手册。另外，书中所配的”词汇导学” 介绍了各种理解生词的方法，帮助学生攻克英语学习 和高考阅读理解题中的难点。 本书为第一册。

钱建源，一九五八年生人。江苏省英语特级教师，江苏省首批中学教授级高级教师。曾参加 园丁工程国家级骨干教师培训，师从国内著名教授陈琳、张连仲。从教近四十年，从未须臾离开讲台半步。以教学为乐、以学生为友、以同伴为师。日作夜思，孜孜以求，不断升华教学之经验。近十多年来，在《中小学外语教学》、《中小学英语教学与研究》等核心期刊发表论文三十多篇；主编《高中英语口语教程》、《高中英语写作教程》、《初中英语写作教程》等多种英语教学用书；参编陈琳教授主编的高中英语教材，并撰写与之配套的教师用书共11册。曾多次受邀在北京、广州、山东、山西、甘肃、陕西、江苏等省市作英语教学讲座。
