王西玲,博士、副教授、硕士生导师。2014年8月获得美国得克萨斯州得克萨斯理工大学(Texas Tech University)哲学博士学位(Doctor of Philosophy in Technical Communication and Rhetoric)。2001年5月获得美国俄亥俄州鲍林格林州立大学(Bowling Green StateUniversity)文科硕士学位(Master of Arts in TESOL-Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)。1988年7月获得西安外国语大学英语语言文学学士学位,毕业后留校任教至今,现主要为研究生开设实用英语技术写作课程,为本科生开设中级英语写作、泛读Ⅲ、泛读Ⅳ。曾在得克萨斯州理工大学英语系讲授过三门英语写作课程:技术传播(写作)、英语写作Ⅰ、英语写作Ⅱ。曾主编、参编英语写作、英语听力教材数本,并发表论文数篇。
