西方历史文献选读(现代卷)

基于提升我国世界史专业本科生与研究生教育的 教学水平这一主旨，孟广林编写的五卷本《西方历史 文献选读》精选西方从古到今的重要英文文本资料， 运用马克思主义唯物史观对之进行介绍乃至解读，力 图多层次、全方位地揭示西方各个历史时期在经济、 政治、军事、思想文化、社会生活诸方面的基本状况 与特征，从中透显出西方历史的演进脉络、流变趋向 乃至发展规律。各卷所选的篇目，既有对某文献的全 文收录，也有对某文献核心部分的截取。每篇文献后 还开列了一些相关问题的研究著作，引导读者延伸阅 读，并作进一步的探究。 这本《西方历史文献选读(现代卷)》为其中一册 。

孟广林，江苏滨海人，1955年生。现为中国人民大学历史学院教授、博士生导师，历史学系学术委员会副主任与欧美史研究中心主任，中国人民大学书报资料中心《世界史》执行编委。主要从事西欧封建政治史、思想文化史与中西历史的比较研究，先后在《中国社会科学》《历史研究》《世界历史》《中国史研究》《史学理论研究》《光明日报》以及一些大学学报、省级刊物上发表论文90余篇，出版有《英国封建王权论稿》《查理曼》《欧洲文艺复兴史：哲学卷》等多部学术专著。曾获北京市第八届哲学社会科学优秀成果二等奖(著作奖)， 第六届高校人文社会科学优秀科研成果一等奖(著作类集体奖)。主持和参与了国家和 人文社会科学基金项目多项。曾应邀到英国、美国、俄罗斯等围以及中国港澳台地区访学、讲学与参加国际学术会议。英国杜伦大学高级研究学者(2006年)，美国罗彻斯特大学访问教授(2007年)。
