凌晓红，现任华南理工大学建筑学院副教授和ArchiZONE设计主持，国家一级注册建筑师，香港绿色建筑专业人士(BEAM)。曾获1999年度DuPont Benedictus Awards和ACSA／OTIS Elevator国际竞赛一、二等奖。2008年获香港大学建筑学博士学位，2014年于英国建筑联盟学院(AA)做访问教师。
曾于中建国际(现悉地国际)、王董国际和巴马丹拿(P＆T)任主创建筑师及设计副董事等职，一直致力于多学科交叉的创新设计与研究。本书既是她个人设计逻辑的阐述，也是其设计实践与教学成果的总结与展示。
