The book, focusing on the Maritime Silk Road, provides a special
history of the Silk Road via stamps, giving an overview with typical cases. It is
intended to lead readers from the ports where the voyages started, to explore the
routes, and gain an insight into the origin, development, social influences and
historical contributions of the Maritime Silk Road.
作者简介
该书作者吴桂就，曾任职于广西壮族自治区教委、广西壮族自治区人民政府发展研究中心、广西壮族自治区人民政府决策咨询委员会。从20世纪70年代开始集邮，专门收集有关中外文化特别是与丝绸之路有关的邮票、邮品，藏品丰富。专题邮集《海上丝绸之路》参加西安2016第17届全国集邮展览并获银奖。
Since 1970s, the author Wu Guijiu began to collect stamps about Chinese and foreign cultures, especially those related to the Silk Road, and has a rich collection. His thematic philatelic collection \"Maritime Silk Road\" won the Silver Award in the 17th National Philatelic Exhibition held in Xi'an in 2016.
