庄贵阳，毕业于中国社会科学院，获经济学博士学位。现为中国社会科学院城市发展与环境研究所研究员、气候变化经济学研究室主任，中国社会科学院创新工程项目首席研究员，中国社会科学院研究生院博士生导师。兼任中国社会科学院一中国气象局气候变化经济学模拟联合实验室副主任、中国社会科学院生态文明研究智库秘书长、北京市节能减排与应对气候变化业务支撑单位项目负责人、中国社会科学院可持续发展研究中心内蒙古气候政策研究院理事、广元市低碳经济发展顾问。 作为国内最早从事低碳经济研究的学者之一，在气候变化政策、低碳经济发展战略与规划、低碳城市评价方法以及城市温室气体排放清单编制等方面开展大量前沿性研究工作，为国家和地方低碳发展战略规划制定提供学术支撑。研究成果得到国外同行关注、国内同行认可。近五年来，主持(包括协调)与专业相关的研究项目二十三项，其中“十二五”国家科技支撑计划课题一项，国家社会科学基金重大项目一项；出版著作六部(包括主编、合著和编著)，发表重要论文八十余篇。曾获中国社会科学院优秀科研成果奖二等奖一项、三等奖一项，中国社会科学院优秀对策信息奖一等奖一项、二等奖两项、三等奖一项，胡绳青年学术奖提名奖一项。
