本书是国际上首部描述 和论证中国扬子区奥陶系- 志留系含页岩气地层时空分 布的专著。通过对四川盆地 及其周边地区40多个钻井岩 芯以及地表露头资料生物地 层学研究,厘定了扬子区奥 陶纪末期一志留纪初期笔石 带的划分,综述了扬子区及 全球奥陶纪末期-志留纪初 黑色页岩的分布与特征,及 其各项含气指标的变化、有 机质的富集、物理指标分布 规律、与斑脱岩分布的关系 等,建立了扬子区与世界其 他主要地区含页岩气地层的 高精度对比关系;证实了龙 马溪组黑色页岩在上扬子黔 渝地区的阶段渐进展布模式 和中扬子宜昌上升范围内的 圈层展布模式,论证了扬子 区奥陶纪末期-志留纪初期 的页岩气都产自五峰组第2 个至龙马溪组第6个笔石带 内,直接指导了扬子区页岩 气的勘探与开发,为我国大 力实施页岩气能源战略提供 了科学支撑,也是基础研究 应用于国民经济主战场的重 要实践。本书可作为从事地 质学、地层古生物学以及页 岩气等非常规油气资源勘探 开发的专业人员或者高校师 生的重要参考书。
