论语节选（汉英对照）

本书从《论语》的近500条语录中选出100条，优先选择了人们经常引用的和最能表达孔子思想的语录。翻译古代经典著作，最大的问题是对原文的理解，本书的英译力求忠实于原文并设法保持原文的简练风格。原文配有白话文，方便读者理解；译文由英文母语专家亲自审定，方便参考学习。

丁往道（1924—2010），我国著名语言学家、翻译家。1946年毕业于四川大学外语系，1950年起在北京外国语学校英语系任教。长期从事写作和文体教学研究及中国文化的译介。编写有《当代英文散文选读》《英语文体学引论》《英语写作手册》等。
