定西市位于甘肃省中部，境内自然条件严酷、生态环 境脆弱，灾害频发、干旱缺水，历史上极端贫困。在党中 央、国务院和省委、省政府的亲切关怀和帮助下，1982年 启动的“三西”扶贫开发计划拉开了定西有计划、有组织 、大规模区域性扶贫开发的序幕。2013年精准扶贫精准脱 贫政策的实施则使定西历史性的消灭了绝对贫困，并将与 全国一道步入全面小康。 该书稿共九章。首先介绍了定西市的社会经济发展状 况、历史上贫困成因和扶贫开发历程。在此基础上，对定 西市精准扶贫政策体系与主要内容、精准扶贫开发的重要 举措和成效进行了梳理。针对当地具有典型意义的马铃薯 、中医药、新能源、养殖业、劳务输转、金融扶贫等展开 案例分析，对其精准扶贫的内容与措施、扶贫模式、扶贫 成效、经验启示进行了剖析。最后，在客观分析精准扶贫 精准脱贫实践意义的情况下，总结得出了定西市精准扶贫 精准脱贫的经验与借鉴，并就进一步巩固脱贫成果、解决 相对贫困问题的政策措施进行了探讨的。
